Carpineto

Wine Experience- Carpineto

184 hectares among vineyards, olive groves, and woodland at an altitude of 300 meters above sea level: this is the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Estate, the largest of the 5 Carpineto estates and the beating heart of Sangiovese cultivation for the production of the Nobile.
It is a green oasis dedicated to sustainability, largely powered by solar energy, where precision agriculture is practiced using state-of-the-art technologies that allow targeted treatments for the preservation of biodiversity.
There are various experiences that can be enjoyed at this Estate, which is open all year round from Tuesday to Sunday.
In the outdoor area, immersed in the beauty of nature, from spring to early autumn, you can book activities such as vineyard trekking, guided walks with eagles and owls, bike or e-bike tours along the white roads that cross and surround the Estate, and lakeside picnics.
During the colder months, it is possible to organize tours inside the modern and technological wine cellar, built with sustainable materials and equipped with solar panels that produce green energy.
Inside, visitors can explore the small company museum showcasing agricultural tools from the past century, the barrel cellar, and enjoy tastings of different denominations and vintages, including blind tastings: from Nobile to Brunello, the Dogajolo line, the CRU of Carpineto, and even the Wine Spectator TOP 100.

Umberto Cesari

Wine Experiences – Umberto Cesari

Located in Castel San Pietro Terme, in the hills overlooking the landscape of the ancient Via Emilia, on the border between Emilia and Romagna, Umberto Cesari was founded in the early 1960s by Umberto Cesari and his wife Giuliana. The winery has always invested all its efforts in the valorisation of the territory and of local varieties such as Sangiovese, Albana, Pignoletto and Trebbiano, flanked over the years by international varieties.
Today, the winery located between the main headquarters and the newly renovated production facility covers 335 hectares, includes eight farms, 18,000 square metres of cellars and a barrel cellar housing over 600 barrels, barriques and tonneaux.
There are several spaces dedicated to Hospitality: the Wine Shop, dedicated to tastings and the purchase of the company’s wines, with ample availability of old vintages and special formats. The Tasting Room, a separate room with greater privacy, can accommodate groups of up to 50 people and company meetings. The Bottaia, the heart of the winery, which can always be visited, is where the more technical tastings such as the Barrel Tasting take place. During the summer, on the other hand, there is a wonderful panorama from the Terrace over the hills overlooking the vineyards.
The Wine Experience offer is wide and varied and includes visits to the production area and the vineyards.

At the Garofoli Winery you can experience over a century of the family’s history and the tradition of winemaking in the Marche region. Follow a path that winds through the Garofoli family’s memories, telling the story of the oldest winery in the Marche region, and culminating in an exciting tasting of wines, among which stand out Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi e Rosso Conero.
